iPhone errors

Okay so everyone has an issue with their iPhone at some stage right? well if you do, feel free to comment on this post and I'll write a new post for you with all problems sorted =]

Screen Shot as promised

Here is the screenshot showing the "Phone Call" option about three quaters of the way down the page.

Google Voice App

Okay, so those of you that use Gmail on a regular basis should have seen the new "Google Phone" if not it is located on the right pane of your screen under chat (I will post a picture soon) you can make free phone calls to people around USA and Canada, you can call internationally but there are rates involved, these rates are very cheap though.

But back on topic, Google have released an app called "Google Voice app" which allows you to (as long as you have a google voice account already which I am 99% sure are free) text and call other iPhones with this app for free!

Above is the link if you want to download the app for yourself! Have fun with it and stay tuned for the picture =]

IOS4

Okay, just updated my iPhone 3GS to iOS4 I know it has taken me a while, but after having the update for maybe five days now I can honestly say, it is the best update yet!

There are many new features available like multi tasking, which has made life much much easier! although it has also decreased the battery life as more applications are open and using Random Access Memory. I haven't yet found a shortcut to close all open apps.

Macbook

Mac's have been raising the benchmark every year for computer design and building, and even still in 2010 and no doubt leading into 2011.

I have purchased a Macbook for $1700 NZD and I love it, big hard drive, crystal clear display and personally my favorite part has to be the multi touch track pad, seriously, if you havent used one yet, go down to you mac store and play on it, it makes everything so much easier.

Plus with the cool little apple applications like iLife and iWork the mac now looks even sleeker and I have never used such a good program for text editing, I'm sorry but even Microsoft Word doesn't compare to iWork. it is honestly so easy!

I highly recommend purchasing a Macbook, weather it is Macbook, Macbook Pro or Macbook Air. Although here is a little secret, the Macbook Pro is another (roughly) $400 NZD and the only difference is the Macbook Pro's steel case and backlight keys, as well as the potential to expand up to 8GB ram, but other than that the two laptops are identical.

If you have the money, then sure why not get a Macbook Pro? but if you are strapped on cash a Macbook is just as good (and it has a bigger hard drive!!)

You choose.

Pro's and Con's of the new iPad

Okay, so my second post about the iPad and sorry. But, there are TONS of questions like "why should I get the iPad I already have an iPod?" and honestly, thats a fair question. The iPad is basically a bigger iPod. However, the iPad is more based for the middle aged person not the young trendsetter, and I don't say that to stereotype, I purely say it because it has a bigger screen, and it has kindle, how many teens do you know that are reading books?

But then you can have a second argument that the iPad is targeted for younger people as all many of the apps are silly little thing.

An iPad is really just an additional iPod although, for long haul trips eg: international flying, iPads are great! I am soon flying over to brisbane (Australia) and I am without a doubt taking the iPad.

It is really a personal preference, but I say if you have the money, you won't regret it!

I know that with my iPad I have never regretted it. I did however get it for free... if you would like to learn how to get a free iPad just comment this post, one iPad per address.

iPad

Okay, so lots of people have had both positive and negative views on the latest Apple iPad. I have one here in my hand and I can honestly say WOW! It is exactly like having a laptop only... easier!

You can bring the iPad with you everywhere and it doesn't even weigh one kilo in comparison to laptops which can weigh up to three or four kilo's. The iPad is also like a phone... but bigger! chuck in a prepay (or plan) simcard and your ready to go, you can now do everything you want at the touch (literally a touch!) of a finger.

It is fun for all ages and I know that without this long trips around the country would have been impossible, they keep the kids quiet for hours as the battery life is something like 12 hours, its insane!

This is where I got my first one from (its just a quick survey. all you need is email address and postal code) http://promotrcker.info/x/0/1426/25120/
